Job summary

FNBO is seeking a capable banking professional for a customer-facing role in Fremont, NE, focusing on deposit and lending transaction processing, loan closing documentation, and strong customer research support.

You will build relationships with peers, customers, and lending staff, greet clients, process payments, maintain commercial accounts, and assist with real estate service forms and complex loan processing on-site. This role emphasizes accuracy, discretion, and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in the banking industry.
• Strong client service background and skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Demonstrated written and exceptional interpersonal communication on telephone and personally when greeting clients/prospects/vendors.
• Ability to complete multiple assignments/projects with quality, accuracy and within set deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Unrestricted work authorization and not requiring sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers.
• Processing loan payments, advances, and maintenance.
• Origination and maintenance of Commercial deposit accounts.
• Loan system workflow assistance and loan document review.
• Loan closing assistance and complex loan processing (e.g., Construction Draws, Floor plans).
• Provide operational support to lending staff.
