Relationship Advisors (RAs) embody Addition Financial's mission and core values. They create unparalleled experiences for current and potential members by cultivating, maintaining, and enhancing relationships in person, over the phone, or through electronic communication. RAs promote financial education and success, identify member needs, teach them about our services, and continue to improve their lives through exceptional service delivery—all while demonstrating absolute integrity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Member Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with members to understand their financial needs and promote credit union products and services professionally.
  • Member Experience: Deliver personalized and attentive service, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly to foster positive relationships.
  • Membership Growth: Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to expand our membership base and implement strategies to attract new members.
  • Deposit Growth: Drive deposit growth through effective relationship building and personalized financial guidance.
  • Operational Expense Reduction: Prevent fraud and minimize losses by implementing proactive risk‑identification measures and ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Cross‑Functional: Balance duties between teller line and platform services based on member demand.
  • Member Outreach: Proactively reach out to members to enhance relationships and address their financial needs.
  • Branch Support: Collaborate with branch operations to assist with daily tasks such as opening and closing procedures and resolving teller outages.
  • Transaction Processing: Handle personal and business account transactions, including deposits, transfers, withdrawals, credit card cash advances, loan payments, and more.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals and enhance overall member experience.
  • Self‑Development: Build and maintain knowledge of Addition Financial products and stay informed about industry trends and evolving financial products.
  • Perform additional duties and department‑wide projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum of 1+ years in a sales or member service role with cash handling experience.
  • A service‑oriented, people‑first mindset committed to exceeding expectations.
  • Genuine willingness and eagerness to learn, improve, and teach others.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Outgoing personality with a strong desire to assist members.
  • Proficiency in accurately processing transactions and requests.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy, especially with those who have different perspectives.
  • Enjoy building relationships with a wide variety of dispositions and personalities.
  • Ability to engage quickly and maintain engagement throughout transactions.
Applicable System or Program Knowledge
  • Proficiency in credit union systems including Windows and Microsoft Office Software; experience with core banking applications (Symitar/Epysis, Synapsys, Meridian Link, OpenClose, etc.) highly desired.

This is a full‑time role working a minimum of 40 hours per week with availability Monday – Saturday based on need.
