Job summary

Truist is seeking an experienced equity research professional to publish proprietary content in designated banking sectors for institutional clients. You will build models, perform industry and company analyses, and provide investment ideas under senior analyst supervision.

The role requires substantial financial modeling, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to interact with C-suite executives while coordinating with Capital Markets, sales, and trading teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; CFA in progress encouraged.
• Mastery of financial and accounting concepts for modeling.
• Advanced written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and teamwork abilities.
• Regulatory licensure (SIE/Series 7/63/87 or CFA pathway) familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Publish proprietary equity research with stock calls to institutional clients.
• Conduct due diligence and industry expertise for equity transactions.
• Initiate C-suite access resources including non-deal roadshows and conferences.
• Produce industry assessments and company-specific research reports.
• Engage with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
• Build industry and company financial models and valuations.
• Write draft research commentary and collaborate with markets/sales/trading.
