Job summary

Truist in New York is seeking an experienced equity research professional to publish proprietary research with stock recommendations for institutional clients. You will conduct macro, industry, and company-level analyses, build financial models, and contribute to making investment ideas actionable.

The role involves collaboration with senior analysts, interaction with C-suite contacts, and support across Capital Markets, sales, and trading to extend research reach.

Qualifications

• Must hold a BA/BS and relevant FINRA licenses or CFA pathway.
• Minimum 4 years of related work experience.
• Strong financial modeling and accounting mastery.

Responsibilities

• Create and publish proprietary equity research with stock recommendations for institutional clients.
• Conduct due diligence and provide industry expertise for equity transactions.
• Initiate C-suite corporate access resources for institutional clients (non-deal roadshows, conferences, field trips, bus tours).
• Perform independent industry assessments and company-specific research reports.
• Engage with senior executives and maintain dialog with covered companies as needed.
