Job summary

Mercor partnered with a leading AI lab to train frontier models on insurance reasoning data. We seek Reinsurance and Program Business Specialists to design realistic risk-transfer scenarios and evaluate model outputs against market standards.

You will draft contract summaries, program reviews, and counterparty assessments, and provide feedback to improve model behavior. Role starts immediately, part of ongoing calibration sessions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in reinsurance, program business, delegated authority, fronting, captive insurance, or alternative risk transfer.
• Understand treaty or facultative reinsurance concepts and Lloyd's arrangements.
• Ability to analyze risk-transfer structures and identify roles of cedents, reinsurers, brokers, MGAs/ MGUs.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic treaty and facultative reinsurance scenarios and governance structures.
• Create analyses and summaries of contracts and program reviews.
• Write high-quality responses and provide feedback to improve model behavior.
• Grade AI-generated outputs for contract logic and market realism.
• Identify key financial and structural elements like limits, retentions, and commissions.
