Howden Re is seeking an Accounting and Claims Associate for our Edina, MN location. You will handle loss notices, calculate and process claims, and ensure compliance with contract terms, while coordinating with clients and reinsurers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, solid accounting knowledge, and strong attention to detail. Candidates should be legally eligible to work in the United States and be proficient with Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associates Degree required.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products including Excel.
• Proven team player and excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Solid analytical acumen and understanding of accounting principles.

Responsabilités

• Receive loss notices and proofs of loss from clients and forward to reinsurers.
• Confirm coverage under treaty wording for retention & limits.
• Prepare/review loss calculations for contract terms.
