Role: Reinsurance Accountant

Location: Remote

Compensation: $110K- $150K base + bonus

What You'll Be Doing:

• Review, reconcile, and analyze premium and claims data from third-party program partners
• Manage direct and ceded ledger entries and reinsurance statements
• Resolve account discrepancies with clients and internal teams
• Drive monthly close and audit readiness processes

• Use advanced Excel skills to model and validate large datasets
• Interpret financial data to support forecasting and risk strategies
• Provide strategic recommendations based on data trends
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to replace manual processes

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 5+ years of experience in insurance or reinsurance
• Familiarity with general ledger systems and reinsurance structures
• Advanced Excel proficiency a must; SQL or BI tools a strong plus
