Reimbursement Analyst (Third Party Analysis)

Third Party Analysis & Reimbursement is seeking a Reimbursement Analyst to join our team. This position is responsible for managing, analyzing, and resolving reimbursement issues for Third Party payers including commercial insurers, Medicare, and Medicaid. The successful candidate will ensure that reimbursement processes are compliant, efficient, and optimized to reflect the true value of our services. This role demands a high attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and strong collaboration skills to interface with internal departments and external payer representatives.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Analyze billing claims for accuracy and completeness in accordance with payer contracts and regulatory guidelines.
  • Identify discrepancies between billing submissions and reimbursement received; recommend corrective actions and coordinate with payer contacts to resolve issues.
  • Track, monitor, and report reimbursement trends, highlighting areas with potential revenue impact.
  • Compile detailed reports with actionable insights to support strategic decision-making for staff and management.
  • Engage with third-party payers to negotiate and clarify reimbursement arrangements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for reimbursement issues, mediating discussions between internal stakeholders and payer representatives to foster positive relationships and timely resolutions.

Experience Preferred

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; (If have Associates degree- 6 years healthcare billing work experience required- if no degree, 8 years healthcare billing work experience required)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (i.e. SAS EG) required
  • Solid understanding of applicable healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and payer-specific requirements strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to present data-driven insights to stakeholders at multiple organizational levels preferred.

Application Window Closes: 6-5-25

Pay Range: $48-65K (State minimum wages apply if higher)

Shift: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm EST

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
