Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation in Indiana is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I. You will assist rehabilitation therapists, help with patient care, and support daily treatment activities in a hospital setting.

From day one, you will set up equipment, maintain a safe environment, and collaborate with nurses and therapists to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while pursuing ongoing training and skills competency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS (CPR) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily rehab department processes and operations.
• Assists patients with daily activities as delegated by therapists.
• Sets up equipment and transports patients according to the schedule.
• Assists therapists with daily care and patient therapy as delegated.
• Communicates patient progress to rehabilitation therapists.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort under supervision.
• Completes required training and skills competency as determined by the hospital.
