Job summary

Resurgens Orthopaedics in Johns Creek, GA is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to support therapists and patients in a busy clinical setting. Under supervision, you will prepare treatment areas, assist with patient transfers, and help patients follow prescribed exercise regimens.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists, ensure clean and organized facilities, handle basic documentation, and assist with scheduling and front-desk tasks as needed to keep the clinic running

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• One year experience in healthcare.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients from waiting area to rehabilitation area.
• Prepare and clean the treatment area before and after sessions.
• Attend to clinic soiled laundry with appropriate precautions.
• Assist with acquiring DME products as instructed by clinician.
• Assist rehab provider in tracking sets/repetitions/weights and ensuring exercises are performed as instructed.
• Assist rehab provider in documentation of the rehabilitation flow sheet and transcribe documentation.
• Maintain OSHA cleaning logs and other logs as requested.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, OTs, PTs and athletic trainers.
• Collaborate with front desk, pre-verifiers and other rehab techs.
• Assist Rehab PSS with scheduling, pre-verifying, faxing/filing, check-in/out and phones.
• Attend required meetings and engage in rehab culture.
• Other duties as assigned.
