Kalesta Healthcare Group in Bellevue, WA seeks a rehabilitation professional to provide and direct all aspects of quality patient care, including evaluation, treatment planning, goal setting, family education and thorough documentation.

You will supervise assistants and rehab aides, maintain licensure and credentials, participate in quality assurance, and collaborate with the Rehab Director to develop programs and ensure safe, effective patient care.

Competenze

• Must maintain appropriate state licensure, certification and credentialing.
• Ability to supervise and direct assistants and rehab aides in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Experience with documentation including evaluations, progress notes, summaries and reports.

Mansioni

• Evaluations are initiated per MD orders and payer guidelines.
• Develops treatment plan and provides treatment aligned with reimbursement levels for best functional outcomes.
• Educates staff and third-party payers on benefits and outcomes of interventions.
• Completes documentation including evaluations, daily progress notes and monthly reports.
• Enters information into EMR and rehab systems.
• Screens individuals who may benefit from therapeutic intervention.
• Ensures safety of self, patients and others at all times.
• Achieves quality patient care through interdisciplinary collaboration and protocol development.
• Attends continuing education and provides in-service training to enhance clinical knowledge.
• Provides clear directives to assistants and rehab techs regarding patient care.
• Collaborates with program specialists and supervisor to develop new programs.
• Maintains licensure and credentialing.
• Submits billing, payroll and expense documentation timely.
• Makes appropriate referrals to other rehab team members.
• Directs and supervises work of assistants and rehab aides per safety guidelines.
• Follows safety procedures regarding personal and patient safety.
• Must be able to key information into computer systems.
• Expands clinical and professional knowledge through continuing education.
• Supports department operations and development.
• Communicates patient status and needs to patients, family and caregivers.
