Job summary

Vivo Healthcare in Clearwater is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician/Aide to support therapists and patients at Vivo Harbourwood. The role involves preparing therapy areas, assisting with exercises, and helping patients with daily activities under licensed therapists.

You will maintain clinical documentation, ensure equipment cleanliness, and uphold HIPAA standards while collaborating with nurses and other team members to deliver safe, effective rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in a related field preferred.
• Preferred Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move patients safely, with a minimum lifting requirement of 25 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and equipment.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in setting up and organizing therapy equipment.
• Safely transport patients to and from therapy sessions.
• Assist patients with exercises, activities, and daily living tasks.
• Accurately file and manage patient therapy documentation.
• Maintain therapy equipment by cleaning, sanitizing, and storing after use.
• Follow safety protocols and use of PPE.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
