Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Rehabilitation Technician in the Speech Therapy department to assist licensed professionals with therapeutic interventions and routine patient care. The role supports equipment maintenance, treatment area setup, and patient transportation, contributing to efficient therapy delivery.

Responsibilities include assisting therapists and students, handling non-patient tasks, and helping with onboarding and training.

Qualifications

• High School or GED (Required).
• CPR Certification within 90 days of hire or prior.
• One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and indirect patient care in therapy settings.
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of treatment areas and equipment.
• Transport patients as needed and support during transfers and treatments.
• Assist in constructing adaptive equipment and splints as required.
• Deliver and dispense therapy supplies or materials; support routine operations in the rehab department.
• Support onboarding and training of new technicians and staff.
