Job summary

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or already obtained a degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
Minimum 1 year experience or equivalent.
Physical strength to lift and move patients.
Excellent interpersonal skills and patience.

Responsibilities

Assist patients to and from waiting area and therapy area.
Lift and move patients with mobility issues from tables and chairs.
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises prescribed by the Physical Therapist(s).
Assist with progression using PPTs including strength testing and balance assessments.
Set up therapy equipment and modalities as required.
Sanitize therapy areas after every patient and maintain clean spaces.
Assist with inventory and product replenishment on the floor.
Support patients through their functional rehabilitation programs.
Maintain patient flow and coordinate with staff and providers.
Report patient signs or symptoms to providers and administrative staff.
