EVS Aide Surgery

Description:

Performs a variety routine and specialized housekeeping related duties in the cleaning of both sterile and no sterile areas including but not limited to: Operating Room Suites, Procedure Rooms, Central Sterile Processing and Central Sterile Supply areas

Cleans and sanitizes the Operating Room suites after procedures using proper techniques per Infection Control policies and procedures

Primary responsibility is for the effective use of proper methods and material in cleaning and caring for the spaces and equipment

Able to follow instructions and approved cleaning schedules

Ability to handle stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace

Maintains a safe, clean environment for patients, visitors and staff

Demonstrates effective implementation of technical skills

Performs other duties

Education/Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Experience in the terminal cleaning of the sterile environment within a healthcare setting is preferred.
