Paxxon Healthcare Services, a national provider of Rehabilitation Services, is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Rehabilitation Technician to join our therapy team serving seniors. We are a therapist-owned company committed to innovative geriatric care, with a friendly and skilled staff, and supportive management. Our work environment spans Memory Care and Assisted Living Facilities, focusing on functional clinical programs to promote seniors' health and safety.

Position Summary

A Rehabilitation Technician works under close supervision of the Area Clinical Coordinator and Regional Director of Operations, performing tasks that do not require professional training or education. The technician supports therapy departments by assisting therapists and patients, maintaining equipment and supplies, and helping ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Receiving work assignments from therapists
• Preparing supplies for patient treatments
• Assisting patients with dressing, ambulation, ADLs, speech, and swallowing services
• Monitoring patients and notifying therapists of concerns
• Transporting patients safely
• Maintaining therapy department neatness
• Supporting administrative record keeping
• Facilitating wellness programs as assigned

Qualifications

While a degree is not required, preferred experience includes administrative, healthcare, exercise, or geriatric backgrounds.
