Lifepoint Health® is seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Technician at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois. This full-time position focuses on assisting patients with their rehabilitation goals while fostering a healthy workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma and some experience in rehabilitation settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6-12 months of relevant experience in a rehab setting recommended.
• CPR certification is required when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in achieving their goals.
• Communicate effectively with the rehabilitation team.
• Observe patient reactions to treatments.
• Lift and transport necessary equipment.

How You'll Contribute

• Follow patient care-related tasks as determined by the OTR/RPT to assist patients in achieving optimal goals
• Communicate verbally and in writing with members of the rehabilitation team
• Use visual acuity to perceive patient reactions to treatment and to read instructions
• Lift and carry equipment, supplies and materials up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications And Requirements
