Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a committed Rehabilitation Technician to support therapy teams in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include transporting and positioning patients, assisting with treatments, and maintaining clean, stocked treatment areas and equipment.

The role also involves keeping accurate inventory, performing light clerical tasks, and collaborating with professional staff to ensure smooth therapy department operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/BCLS Certification.
• Minimum six months experience in an acute or long-term facility preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport, lift, transfer, move and reposition patients.
• Assist professional staff with patient treatment.
• Prepare, clean and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
• Procure and maintain therapy supplies inventory.
• Perform routine clerical tasks for Therapy Department.

How You'll Contribute

• Ability to Transport, lift, transfer, move and reposition patients in the patient room, Therapy Gym and other common areas of the hospital.
• Prepares patient for prescribed treatment and assists professional staff with patient treatment.
• Prepares, cleans and maintains treatment areas and equipment.
• Procures and keeps an accurate inventory of all therapy supplies.
• Performs routine clerical tasks for Therapy Department.
