Job summary

Chestnut Hill is seeking a Rehab Tech to support therapists and provide administrative help in the therapy setting. You will assist with patient treatments, transportation, and maintaining a safe, clean therapy area.

The role also includes clerical duties such as recordkeeping, signing records, answering phones, and preparing billing and reports as directed by the Rehabilitation Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Self-motivation and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supports therapists during treatment and assists with stabilizing patients.
• Assists licensed therapists or assistants during non-skilled treatments as directed.
• Helps patients perform exercises, gait training, and functional activities.
• Transports residents to and from therapy areas as needed.
• Maintains therapy area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
• Performs clerical duties: mail, recordkeeping, signatures, phones, messages.
• Prepares weekly/monthly billing as directed by Rehabilitation Director.
• Prepares admission/discharge records and documentation packets.
