Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Services Aide to support therapists and patients in our NJ facilities. You will assist patients during therapy sessions, help prepare treatment spaces, handle equipment and supplies, and perform front-desk duties such as greeting patients and answering calls.

This role provides essential supports to the therapy team and requires attention to infection control and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year direct patient care experience preferred.
• Proficient in English, verbal and written communication.
• Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing department needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients to prepare for and complete therapy sessions.
• Retrieve needed equipment and supplies and assist patients with clothing and footwear.
• Provide receptionist duties: greeting patients, answering calls, handling mail.
• Monitor and maintain department equipment and supplies; keep logs and par levels.
• Communicate patient delays or issues to supervising therapists and coordinate care.
