Job summary

Prestige Health and Wellness in Manhattan seeks a Rehab Aide to support providers and help create a safe, professional treatment environment. You’ll greet patients, prepare them for therapy, and assist during sessions with stretches and passive therapies.

The role requires an Associates or Bachelor’s degree and strong communication. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and on-the-job training.

• Associates / Bachelor’s degree (REQUIRED)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think critically and make quick, sound decisions
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
• Previous experience in a healthcare, fitness, or rehab setting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, helping them feel comfortable before treatment
• Prepare patients for therapy, including positioning and treatment room setup
• Assist during treatment sessions by supporting stretches, decompression, and passive therapies
• Monitor patient comfort and alert providers of any concerns or changes
• Clean and sanitize treatment tables, therapy tools, and shared equipment
• Organize and restock supplies to keep rooms fully prepared throughout the day
• Set up treatment areas with required equipment before patient visits
• Support somatic therapy sessions by setting up electrical stimulation or traction
• Help Providers teach or demonstrate prescribed rehab exercises under provider supervision
• Communicate observations to providers, including changes in patient condition or response
• Maintain a safe and organized clinic environment, including trash removal and plant care
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all health and safety protocols
• Ensure compliance with Cybersecurity Protocols for compliance purposes
