Sheppard Pratt Careers is seeking a Part-time Direct Care Support Staff in Frederick, MD to provide crisis residential program support in person. The role involves 16 hours weekly, Saturdays and Sundays 3pm–11pm, with a pay rate of $19.05 per hour and on-site work.
Under supervision, you will work one-on-one with clients, ensure medication compliance, collaborate on service plans, and provide transportation and advocacy during medical appointments.

Crisis Residential Program services provide short-term intensive, round-the-clock, personalized support to help stabilize someone having a mental health crisis so they can avoid hospitalization. Our teams collaborate with providers who are already involved in an individual's treatment and works to link clients to other services offered by Sheppard Pratt or other community providers.

This is a direct care opportunity to provide support for mental health treatment. You will provide a safe and therapeutic environment that encourages the overall independence and wellbeing of your clients. Pay rate: $19.05/hr
Under general supervision, your responsibilities will include:
As you spend time with your clients, you will find yourself developing a rapport with your clients where you become part of their trusted support system. You will see their wins as your wins as they work their way through the program and cheer them on as they progress in their recovery.
All direct care staff will be thoroughly trained to provide all services and should expect supportive and ever-present mentorship from senior staff members as they perform the requested duties.
