Department of Economic Security (DES) in Phoenix seeks a Rehabilitation Services Technician to support the Rehabilitation Services Administration. The role focuses on guiding applicants with disabilities through vocational rehabilitation, coordinating orientation sessions, and conducting initial interviews.

Hybrid in-state work arrangement with potential remote work up to two days per week. DES offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for collaboration across agencies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Federal and State laws governing Vocational Rehabilitation services.
• Experience with disability services and community resources.
• Ability to manage caseloads and document progress notes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and email systems.

Responsabilités

• Assist the counselor with case management activities as part of a team.
• Interview applicants and document disability-related information.
• Maintain and organize client files with up-to-date information.
• Provide resource and referral information to clients and community organizations.
• Inform clients of appointments and assist with scheduling and contacting vendors.
• Explain Rehabilitation Services Administration programs to clients.
