Job summary

State of Oklahoma's Department of Rehabilitation Services seeks a Rehabilitation Technician to provide skilled technical support to rehabilitation staff and to assist individuals with disabilities in accessing services.

The role involves gathering diagnostic information, processing applications, arranging services within approved plans, and maintaining case records using the agency's information system; it also includes general office and reception duties and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Level I requires one year of office technical clerical work.
• Level II requires two years of technical clerical work or equivalent.
• Level III requires two years technical clerical plus one year in a vocational rehab program or relevant bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled technical assistance to rehabilitation staff for direct client services.
• Assist clients in completing applications for services.
• Arrange and authorize services per an approved rehabilitation plan.
• Process case data (applications, eligibility data, IPEs, notes, authorizations).
• Maintain files and transfer case records via the information system.
• Perform general office and reception duties; travel as required.
