Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital in Dallas, TX is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for rehabilitation services. The role involves direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, medication administration, patient assessments, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates have an accredited LPN program, active state licensure, and CPR/BLS; IV certification is preferred or must be obtained within 6 months.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
• Current state licensure as an LPN.
• CPR/BLS certification required; IV Certification preferred or to be obtained within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Administer medications safely according to patient age and condition.
• Assist in initial and ongoing patient assessments and interdisciplinary care planning.
• Identify rehabilitation nursing interventions per patient needs.
• Perform timely quality improvement assessments under RN supervision.
• Develop and implement individualized patient teaching plans.
• Promote patient safety and reduce medical errors.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans.
