Job summary

Ascension Saint Joseph is seeking a Clinical Liaison to educate communities about acute rehabilitation, build referral networks, and drive census growth. The role requires in-territory, face-to-face engagement with patients, families, and healthcare partners to streamline admissions and promote services.

Ideal candidates will have a clinical degree and active license (OT/PT/SLP/RN), plus demonstrated liaison/marketing/sales experience and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with

Qualifications

• Clinical degree and current license to practice as an OT, PT, SLP, or RN.
• Previous clinical liaison/marketing/sales experience preferred.
• Current license to practice per state licensure act.
• Other professional licensure considered based on experience and training.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with physicians, nursing management, discharge planners, case managers, and social workers.
• Clinical experience is preferred.
• Approximate external liaison time in market territory: ~80%.

Responsibilities

• Educate the community on acute rehabilitation to develop a census through face-to-face contacts.
• Develop business based on the rehabilitation program's strategic goals.
• Build relationships with referral sources to increase census through in-territory, face-to-face meetings.
• Identify barriers to admission and create solutions with the program director.
• Travel onsite and within territory to meet patients, families, and referral sources.
• Conduct in-person in-services and presentations to educate on acute rehabilitation services.
• Other duties as assigned.
