Position Overview

The Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) helps people with disabilities achieve employment, education, and independence. This position manages customer case records, performs clerical tasks, and supports service delivery in accordance with regulations and policies. The role requires strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Essential Functions
  • Coordinate with counselors and the case management system to prioritize daily customer service activities.
  • Review case activities regularly with counselors.
  • Assist clients, families, vendors, and agencies with program rules and eligibility.
  • Triages incoming mail, email, calls, and walk-ins.
  • Meet with staff to discuss casework activities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of clerical experience demonstrating proficiency and accuracy in keyboarding.
  • Qualifying state employees may substitute proficiency tests and training for some requirements.
Conditions of Employment
  • Must be able to travel for training.

Work hours are Mon-Fri, 8:30 am-5 pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch.
