Brown University Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide to support Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology services at Newport Hospital. You will transport patients, maintain treatment areas, and assist with scheduling and documentation while following care plans and infection control policies.

The role requires assisting clinicians under supervision, handling equipment, and maintaining supply inventories within a dynamic hospital setting in Newport, RI.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills to work with patients and healthcare team.
• Effective verbal and non-verbal communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsabilités

• Assist therapists and assistants in patient care as requested.
• Position, mobilize, and exercise patients per therapist directions.
• Ensure supervising clinicians are on premises and available during treatment.
• May supervise volunteers or interns as needed.
