Job summary

Louisiana Orthopaedic Specialists is seeking a Rehab Tech to support Physical and Occupational Therapists with patient care and treatment plans. You will help maintain clear communication with patients, families, and other departments, while assisting front office staff as needed.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, supply organization, and supporting the rehab floor. The role requires teamwork, strong patient confidentiality, and current competencies for the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in kinesiology or exercise science preferred.
• Knowledge of exercise application under therapist direction.
• Familiarity with clinic policies, safety, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical and Occupational Therapists with patient care and treatment plans.
• Maintain communication with patients, families, and other departments.
• Assist front office staff as needed to maintain clinic flow.
• Answer patient questions to ensure high satisfaction.
• Maintain equipment and a safe, clean clinic environment.
• Assist with inventory and organization of supplies and shelves.
• Support the Lead Rehab Tech with special projects.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and assist all patients on the rehabilitation floor.
