Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to support rehabilitation therapists and deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

In this role you will set up equipment, help deliver therapy activities, ensure safety, and work closely with nurses and therapists to optimize patient outcomes, while growing your career in a nationally recognized inpatient rehabilitation leader.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred unless hospital policy requires otherwise.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Elements required for Rehab Tech I or equivalent training completed.

Responsibilities

• Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate to therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.
