Job summary

Encompass Health in Greenville is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to support rehabilitation therapists and deliver exceptional patient care. You will set up equipment, maintain a safe environment, and collaborate with therapists and nurses to ensure smooth daily operations.

Starting from day one, you will be part of a nationally recognized inpatient rehabilitation leader with growth opportunities and a culture that values empathy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Has completed elements required for clinical ladder Rehab Tech I or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Support therapists’ daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate to therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.
