Job summary

Encompass Health in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to support rehabilitation therapists and deliver compassionate patient care. You will help set up equipment, keep the work environment safe, and collaborate with nurses and therapists to keep patient schedules on track.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Has completed Rehab Tech I or equivalent training in school or on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
• Communicate outcomes/observations of patient care activities to therapists.
