Job summary

Encompass Health in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to assist therapists, set up equipment, and support patient care in a fast-paced inpatient setting. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow within a national leader in post-acute care.

You will collaborate with therapists and nurses, help maintain a safe environment, and contribute to patient-centered treatment plans.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred (unless hospital policy requires otherwise).
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Has completed elements required for clinical ladder Rehab Tech I or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient schedule.
