Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation in Georgia is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician I to support therapists, set up equipment, and deliver compassionate patient care in a fast-paced inpatient rehab setting.

You will collaborate with therapists and nurses, help maintain safety, and assist with patient transport and progress notes. The position offers day-to-day impact on patients and growth within a nationwide provider.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience delivering basic patient care and support in a rehab setting is beneficial.
• Team-oriented approach to collaborate with therapists and nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Support therapists' daily patient care and therapy activities.
• Facilitate effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain patient safety and deliver patient-centered treatment.
• Prepare and transport patients according to the patient’s schedule.
• Communicate to therapists on outcomes/observations of patient care activities.
