Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, West Orange, NJ, seeks a Rehab Therapy Manager to oversee the entire rehab team and ensure adherence to the patient plan of care. You will direct rehab services operations, conduct staff interviews, orientation, performance appraisals, and supervise personnel while coordinating with nursing leadership.

The role emphasizes staff development, scheduling, ensuring appropriate care scope, fostering collaboration across disciplines, and promoting clinician growth

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days of employment.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor the entire rehab team to ensure the plan of care is followed.
• Direct rehab services operations, including staff interviews, orientation, and performance appraisals.
• Schedule rehab therapy staff.
• Ensure rehab services match scope and level of care for patients.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration for quality and efficient service delivery.
• Liaise with the Chief Nursing Officer to develop staff and rehab programs.
• Promote professional development, education, and competency of rehab staff.
