Qualifications

  • CPR certification is required upon hire.
  • Prior healthcare experience is preferred.
  • 1 year of healthcare experience is preferred.

  • Prepare patients, treatment areas, and equipment to ensure patient dignity and security.
  • Carry out activities directed by the therapist, like therapeutic exercises.
  • Complete administrative tasks as delegated.
  • Establish interpersonal relationships with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in team education and growth.

Work Schedule

Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift. Shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Hours could vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Rehab Therapy Assistant
  • Prepare patients, treatment areas, and equipment in a manner that assures the patient’s dignity, personal care, and security.
  • Carry out patient related activities, as directed by the patient’s therapist, such as, assist with a patient’s therapeutic exercises, therapeutic activities, and/or ambulation activities.
  • Complete administrative tasks as delegated by manager, supervisor, or therapist.
  • Establish appropriate interpersonal relationships and communications with patients, families, other team members, students and interns, and other health care professionals.
  • Participate in the education and growth of the team.
