Job summary

Barrington Orthopedic Specialists in Buffalo Grove, IL is seeking a Rehab Tech/Aide for the Physical Therapy Department. This part-time position offers 24 hours per week, Monday–Thursday, 11am–5pm.

Responsibilities include assisting patients, escorting them to the treatment area, applying modalities and exercises under clinician supervision, and keeping treatment areas clean. Prior knowledge is a plus but not required. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Since 1980, Barrington Orthopedic Specialists' physicians have remained the premier orthopedic providers of the northwest Chicago suburbs, providing compassionate, individualized care for patients' bone, joint, and muscle injuries and conditions.

We are looking for Rehab Tech/Aide's to work out of our Buffalo Grove location. May be asked to work other locations if needed.

Hours are Part-Time (24 hours per week), Monday-Thursday, 11am-5pm.

Rehab Tech/Aide Physical Therapy Job Description:

Job duties entail patient care, escorting patients back to treatment area; apply modalities and exercises under the direct supervision of a clinician. Clean treatment tables, and be responsible to keep treatment areas clean and free from obstacles. The technician may also perform weekly/monthly safety inspections, assist in the ordering of supplies, and perform front office responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Prior Rehab Tech/Aide Knowledge is a Plus, but is not required

Salary:Begins at $15.00 per hour
