Job summary

Wesley Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Rehab Technician PRN to support therapists and prepare patients for treatment. The role emphasizes assisting in therapeutic procedures, maintaining a clean PM department, and handling routine communications and supply stocking.

Position Summary

This position supports the mission of HealthONE/HCA of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. The Rehab Aide, under the supervision of the manager, prepares patients for and assists therapists in treatment, and demonstrates a good working knowledge of treatment techniques. Maintains the PM Department in a clean and orderly fashion. Communicates appropriate patient information. Assures adequate stock of supplies and performs clerical duties. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Requirements

• BLS certification required upon hire.
• No experience required. However, prior experience in a patient care related field preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other health care team members. Ability to work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care. Strong critical thinking skills. Ability to communicate with patients using auditory Input and Output.
