Job summary

The Arboretum of Winnie is seeking a dependable Rehab Tech to join our in-house therapy team. You will support the therapy department and facility operations by handling clerical tasks, maintaining compliance, and assisting patients and staff to ensure a smooth daily experience.

Under the supervision of licensed therapists, you will help with scheduling, filing, communication, and keeping treatment areas organized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• CNA certification may be required by state law.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Support therapy operations with clerical, patient, and team duties.
• Perform clerical tasks including computerized documentation and tracking.
• Answer phones and direct calls; provide general visitor support.
• Develop and maintain organized filing systems.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, obtain physician signatures, manage quarterly CMS screens.
• Coordinate therapy schedules with nursing and other departments.
• Assist patients and staff with questions or needs.
• Support cross-department communication and collaboration.
• Participate in department and facility meetings as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas.
• Monitor supplies and equipment stock levels.
• Participate in performance improvement programs.
• Report unusual incidents to the Administrator and respond to emergencies.
• Demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude at all times.

Join Our Team as a Rehab Tech

Support Rehabilitation Services with Purpose and Teamwork

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Rehab Tech to join our in-house therapy team! In this role, you will support the therapy department and facility operations by assisting with administrative duties, maintaining compliance, and providing support to patients and staff. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience.

Your Impact as a Rehab Tech

In this role, you will:

• Complete clerical, patient, and team member-related duties to support therapy operations

• Perform clerical work as directed, including computerized documentation and tracking

• Answer and direct phone calls and provide general support to visitors

• Develop and maintain organized filing systems

• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including obtaining physician signatures and managing quarterly screens per State and CMS guidelines

• Coordinate therapy schedules with nursing and other departments as needed

• Assist patients, clients, and team members with questions or needs

• Support communication and collaboration across departments

• Participate in department and facility meetings as assigned

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of treatment areas

• Help maintain adequate stock of supplies and equipment

• Participate in facility performance improvement programs

• Report any unusual incidents to the Administrator

• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergency situations

• Demonstrate a positive attitude and team-oriented approach at all times

• Perform other duties as assigned

Note: Rehab Techs may assist with treatments only under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist, in accordance with Medicare regulations and state law.
