Job summary

Pine Acres Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Rehab Technician for the Afternoon Shift in our inpatient subacute facility. The role involves assisting therapists, transporting patients, setting up therapy spaces, and maintaining equipment in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and strong communication and organizational skills. Training will be provided, and the position offers part-time hours with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Strong verbal, written communication and organizational skills, required.
• Interest in Occupational, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathology or related fields encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Patient/Resident transportation to and from rehabilitation area
• Therapy set-up and breakdown
• Assisting therapists in providing a therapeutic and safe environment.
• Maintaining equipment and working area
• Working as a team in setting up and preparing for group activities/therapy
• Able to foster a positive and encouraging working environment for staff and patients/residents
• Performing clerical duties, filing, computer work, etc.
• Reports directly to assigned therapists and Director of Rehabilitation.
