Job summary

ChildServe in Des Moines is hiring Part-Time Rehab Techs to support our Outpatient Therapy team. The role involves organizing, cleaning, and disinfecting therapy spaces, including gyms and classrooms, to ensure a safe environment for pediatric sessions.

This position is ideal for a college student seeking experience in pediatric outpatient therapy. Training and CPR certification are provided if needed, and flexibility in shifts is available to fit student schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• One year of experience in a healthcare setting or with children preferred.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to work independently and stay highly organized.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively, written and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Support Outpatient Therapy team by organizing, cleaning, and disinfecting therapy spaces (gyms, classrooms, and other areas).
• Assist with setup and cleanup of therapy sessions and materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout shifts.
• Lift up to 35 lbs and be mobile within assigned area, with ability to bend, lift, reach, and stand as needed.

Job description

We are hiring for Part-Time Rehab Tech's at our Des Moines clinic! This team member will support our Outpatient Therapy team by organizing, cleaning, and disinfecting the gyms, classrooms, and other areas we use for therapy sessions. This is a great position for college student looking to gain experience in a pediatric outpatient therapy setting.

Two Schedules Available

• 1st shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30am-12:30pm
• 2nd shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm-6pm

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma required.
• One year of experience working in a healthcare setting or with children is preferred. Experience in rehabilitation is a plus.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of employment.
• Ability to work independently and be highly organized.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively for understanding, in writing and verbally.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
