Job summary

ChildServe in Des Moines is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive pediatric physical therapy services in our outpatient clinic. The role emphasizes teamwork with therapists to create plans tailored to each child’s needs and goals.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s in Physical Therapy, an active Iowa license, and pediatric experience is preferred. Ability to communicate in English and lift up to 50 lbs is required. Email [e-mail] for applications.

We are hiring for a full-time Physical Therapist at our brand-new Des Moines clinic! ChildServe's talented team of therapists specialize in pediatric rehab and work together to create plans specific to each child's need. In this full-time Physical Therapist role, you will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to children in our outpatient service area.

What You’ll Do

• Administer appropriate standardized tests/screenings/informal assessments/clinical observations.
• Adhere to the plan of care as written.
• Provide appropriate recommendations, referrals, and/or follow-up for each case.
• Participate in internal quality assurance and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Assist in the research/development of clinical practices and competencies.
• Plan and prepare individualized, creative, and unique activities to meet each child's individual goals.

What You’ll Need

• Master's level or higher graduate of an APTA approved physical therapy and an active license in the state of Iowa.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
