Support Recovery. Make a Difference. Visalia Post Acute is seeking a dependable, organized, and compassionate Full-Time Rehabilitation Technician to join our rehabilitation team. This position supports our physical, occupational, and speech therapy departments by assisting with resident transportation, treatment-area preparation, equipment management, scheduling, supplies, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, works well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys helping residents throughout their recovery journey. This is a non-clinical support position; clinical questions and treatment decisions must be directed to a licensed therapist.
This position requires frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, and the ability to reach, push, pull, lift, and manipulate equipment. The employee may occasionally be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The position may involve exerting more than 100 pounds occasionally, more than 50 pounds frequently, or more than 20 pounds regularly when safely moving residents or equipment. Employees must follow all training, facility procedures, and safe resident-handling practices. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
