Qualifications

• Hold a CNA or be enrolled in a therapy program (PTA/COTA) as required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrate clear oral and written communication with rehab staff, facility staff, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist with treatment activities as directed by the therapist.
• Transport patients to and from rehab for scheduled treatment and assist with transfers.
• Prepare patients for therapy as directed by supervising therapist.
• Help modify patient equipment (wheelchairs, splints) as necessary.
• Report patient response and changes in medical status to supervising therapist immediately.
• Assist with computer data entry and generate reports as requested.
