Job summary

Cleveland Area Hospital/Lake Area Medical Associates is hiring a Rehab Technician to support physical or occupational therapy teams in delivering high-quality care. You will assist with patient preparation, treatment setup, equipment management, and administrative tasks while maintaining a safe and organized environment.

Under supervision of licensed staff, you will help with patient transport, setup, and documentation in the EMR, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies prior to patient treatment sessions.
• Assist therapists with patient positioning, transfers, and treatment setup as directed.
• Escort or transport patients to treatment areas as requested.
• Monitor and maintain a safe, clean therapy environment.
• Clean and disinfect therapy equipment and high-touch surfaces.
• Assist with equipment inspections, maintenance checks, and logs.
• Obtain, organize, and restock supplies and equipment for patient care.
• Report equipment issues or hazards promptly.
