Preferred Therapy Solutions is seeking a Part-time Rehab Tech in Marlborough, MA. The role supports the rehabilitation staff with patient-related activities, transports patients, assists with therapy prep, and handles light clerical duties in the rehab department.

Requires completion of our competency or enrollment in a therapy program (PTA/COTA), a high school diploma or GED, and strong communication and attendance. Competitive hourly rate $18–$22 with benefits for full-time equivalents.

Qualifications

• Completion of Preferred Therapy Solutions Competency or currently enrolled in a therapy program (e.g. PTA school or COTA school).
• Hold a High school diploma or Graduate Equivalency Degree.
• Demonstrate concise oral and written communication skills with rehab staff, facility staff, patients, and families.
• Demonstrate regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assists with specific treatment activities assigned by the treating therapist.
• Transports patients to and from rehabilitation dept. for scheduled treatment and assist with transfers.
• Prepares patient for therapy as directed by supervising therapist.
• Helps modify patient equipment (wheelchairs, splints) as necessary.
• Reports patient response to treatment to supervising therapist immediately.
• Assists with computer data entry and generates reports as requested.
• Completes timely and accurate documentation of direct, indirect time, payroll, efficiency and clinical reporting.
• Adheres to HIPAA, Infection Control, Universal Precautions and OSHA standards.
