Job summary

Loyola Medicine Transport at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago's western suburbs is seeking staff to assist with patient care activities under supervision of therapists and support teams. The role includes inventory, stocking, and maintenance of supplies, plus ordering for vendors via Lawson.

You will contribute to developing new rehab programs, mentor staff for compliance, and uphold Loyola's service excellence and mission-driven care in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Associate degree preferred.
• BLS Certification required.
• Basic Keyboarding Skills.
• Epic Scheduling.
• Microsoft Outlook.
• Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient care activities under supervision of therapists and staff.
• Performs inventory, stocking and maintenance of department supplies/equipment.
• Places orders for internal/external vendors on the Lawson computer system.
• Supports growth of Rehabilitation Services by aiding new programs/protocols.
• Provides compliance guidance to rehab technicians and mentors colleagues.

What You'll Do

• Assists with a variety of patients care treatment and activities under the direct supervision of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapists Assistance, and Speech Language Pathologists. Performs inventory, stocking and maintenance of department supplies and equipment. Performs all ordering for internal and external vendors on the Lawson computer system. Contributes to the growth of the Rehabilitation Services Department by supporting the development of new programs and protocols. Provides compliance guidance to other rehab technicians by serving as a mentor. Exemplifies the service excellence goals of care, concern, respect and cooperation of the Loyola's Mission and Philosophy.

Compensation

Pay Range: $16.49-$24.44 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
