Job summary

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, invites applications for a rehab technician role in Maywood, IL. You will assist with patient care under supervision from therapists, manage inventory and orders using Lawson, and contribute to program development while mentoring fellow technicians.

The position supports Loyola’s mission and service excellence goals. Position located at Maywood Rehab, with hours and on-site requirements described by the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Associate degree preferred.
• BLS Certification required.
• Basic Keyboarding Skills.
• Epic Scheduling.
• Microsoft Outlook.
• Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, and Speech Language Pathologists.
• Perform inventory, stocking and maintenance of department supplies and equipment; handle orders for internal and external vendors in the Lawson system.
• Support development of new programs and protocols and provide compliance guidance to other rehab technicians; mentor others.
• Uphold Loyola's service excellence goals and mission in daily work.

What you’ll do:

• Assists with a variety of patients care treatment and activities under the direct supervision of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapists Assistance, and Speech Language Pathologists. Performs inventory, stocking and maintenance of department supplies and equipment. Performs all ordering for internal and external vendors on the Lawson computer system. Contributes to the growth of the Rehabilitation Services Department by supporting the development of new programs and protocols. Provides compliance guidance to other rehab technicians by serving as a mentor. Exemplifies the service excellence goals of care, concern, respect and cooperation of the Loyola's Mission and Philosophy.

Position is at Maywood Rehab- Hours of Operation: 6:30 am - 7 pm Monday - Thursday; 6:30 am - 4 pm Fridays Expected to work 2 evenings until 7 pm

Compensation:

Pay Range: $16.49-$24.44 per hour. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
