Job summary

Loyola Medicine in Maywood, IL seeks a dedicated rehab technician to support occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapies. You will assist with patient care, manage department supplies in Lawson, and help order materials under supervision.

Position is full-time at Maywood Rehab with early mornings and some evenings. Benefits from day one, shift differentials, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Associate degree preferred.
• BLS Certification required.
• Experience with scheduling and MS Office tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care activities under supervision of therapists and rehab staff.
• Perform inventory, stocking, and maintenance of department supplies; manage Lawson ordering.
• Support development of new rehab programs and act as a mentor to other rehab technicians.

What you’ll do:

• Assists with a variety of patients care treatment and activities under the direct supervision of Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapists Assistance, and Speech Language Pathologists. Performs inventory, stocking and maintenance of department supplies and equipment. Performs all ordering for internal and external vendors on the Lawson computer system. Contributes to the growth of the Rehabilitation Services Department by supporting the development of new programs and protocols. Provides compliance guidance to other rehab technicians by serving as a mentor. Exemplifies the service excellence goals of care, concern, respect and cooperation of the Loyola's Mission and Philosophy.

Position is at Maywood Rehab- Hours of Operation: 6:30 am - 7 pm Monday - Thursday; 6:30 am - 4 pm Fridays Expected to work 2 evenings until 7 pm

Compensation:

Pay Range: $16.49-$24.44 per hour. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
