Job summary

ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC in Newburgh, IN is seeking a full-time Rehab Tech to support our outpatient team focusing on women's health and oncology rehabilitation. You will assist therapists and help maintain a safe, organized clinic environment.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma, CPR/BLS certification, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience or training preferred.
• CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for the shift; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrates professionalism and confidentiality; strong written and verbal skills.
• Proficient with databases and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with physical therapy treatment for patients with injuries or musculoskeletal conditions.
• Monitor clinic patients and support therapists to maintain a safe, efficient environment.
• Support front office tasks: greeting patients, phone, registration, data entry, filing, records upkeep.
• Safeguard and escort patients as needed between locations.
• Keep treatment areas and equipment clean and organized; prepare areas and supplies.
• Inventory supplies and equipment; restock as needed.

Rehabilitation Technician, Rehab Tech – ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC – Newburgh, IN

We are looking for a reliablefull-time Rehab Tech to join our outpatient team supporting women's health and oncology rehabilitation. This position contributes to a safe, motivating, and organized clinical environment for our clients and our team of professional therapists. What will you be doing in this role?

• Assisting with physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries and/or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone disease
• Monitoring the clinic’s patients and supporting the therapist with treatment needs – facilitate a convenient and safe environment while providing excellent customer service
• Assisting in front office tasks which may include greeting patients, answering the telephone, supporting registration, data entry, filing, and patient record upkeep
• Safeguarding and escorting patients from one location to another, if needed
• Continually clean and organize treatment areas and equipment
• Prepare patients, treatment areas, equipment, and supplies such as fitness equipment and linens
• Inventory of supplies and equipment
• Cleaning work areas and equipment before, during, and after shift
• Facilitating an efficient environment for coworkers

Our ideal candidate would:

• Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Have a background or interest in physical therapy, kinesiology, exercise science, or physiology
• Provide a CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or have the ability to obtain it before the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
• Have the ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shift
• Have the ability to left, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Have a high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
• Have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
• Be able to maintain confidentiality
• Have strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
